Link Test Cases to Jira Work Items skill

Link existing Zephyr test cases to Jira issues without leaving Rovo Chat. Use this skill to keep your test cases connected to the work items they cover.

How this skill works

You can use this skill to do the following:

To link one or more test cases (up to 10) to a Jira work item in a single request.

What this skill cannot do

This skill cannot do the following:

Link more than 10 test cases in a single request.
Create new test cases. Use the Create Test Cases skill for that.
Remove existing links between test cases and Jira work items.

When to use the skill

Use this skill when you need to do the following:

Establish traceability between existing test cases and a Jira work item.
Link a set of test cases to a feature, bug, or task in Jira.

Required input

To link test cases to a Jira work item, the request must include:

A Jira work item key (for example, ZEP-123).
One or more test case keys (for example, TC-T1, TC-T2).

Note

This skill supports linking up to 10 test cases in a single request. Linking more than 10 test cases at once is not guaranteed. To link more than 10 test cases, contact the Zephyr support team .

Example prompts

Use the following example prompts in Rovo:

Link test case TC-T1 to Jira work item ZEP-123.
